What is Japanese " Senpai & Ko-hai " culture

Hi! Today, I'm going to talk about "Senpai & Ko-hai " culture.

In Japan, there is a culture of hierarchical relationship.

People who are older, have more work experience, or are in a higher grade are called "Senpai",

while those who are younger or have less experience are called "Ko-hai".

In schools and work places, the "Ko-hai" speaks to the "Senpai" with polite Japanese, showing respect,

and the "Senpai" guides the "Ko-hai" like a mentor.

Understanding this culture is really important in Japan.

How about in your country?

Bye for now!
