Train Manners in Japan（電車のマナー）

It’s been a while since I last wrote a blog post. How have you been?

Trains in Japan are quiet and clean.

There are some important manners you should know.

First, don’t talk loudly.

You can talk, but use a small voice.

Second, don’t make phone calls on the train.

You can use your phone, but do not talk on it.

Third, there are priority seats.

These seats are for elderly people, pregnant women, and people with disabilities.

If someone needs the seat, please give it to them.

Also, people line up to get on the train.

Please wait your turn and don’t push.

If you follow these rules, your trip in Japan will be more comfortable.

There are many kinds of trains in Japan, so please try riding them!

日本の電車は、静かでとてもきれいです。

そして、いくつか大切なマナーがあります。

スマートフォンを使うのはいいですが、電話で話さないようにしましょう。

それから、優先席があります。

また、電車に乗るときはホームに並びます。

順番を待って、押さないようにしましょう。
